For as long as I can remember, the Cornish coast has felt like home — its rugged beauty, fresh sea air, and incredible local produce stayed with me even while living far away in Essex. After ten years of dreaming, I finally made the leap with my family, trading the familiar for a life by the sea and the chance to follow a long-held passion. That move inspired me to create something rooted in gratitude, courage, and community: Prawn Star.
Prawn Star celebrates the bounty of Cornwall, from the freshest prawns and shellfish to locally sourced ingredients that honour the coast. Every dish is crafted with care and a sense of fun, whether it’s a salt-free Cajun boil, a flavour-packed butter disc, or playful packaging that sparks joy before the first bite. More than just a menu, it’s a way of sharing festive moments, creativity, and the magic of gathering around food — a story shaped by the coast I fell in love with and now get to celebrate one feast at a time.
