For as long as I can remember, the Cornish coast has felt like home its rugged beauty, fresh sea air, and incredible local produce stayed with me even while living far away in Essex. After ten years of dreaming, I finally made the leap with my family, trading the familiar for a life by the sea and the chance to follow a long-held passion. That move inspired me to create something rooted in gratitude, courage, and community: Prawn Star.
Prawn Star celebrates the bounty of Cornwall, from the freshest prawns and shellfish to locally sourced ingredients that honour the coast. Every dish is crafted with care and a sense of fun, whether it’s a Our Signature Prawn Star boil, a flavour-packed homemade Cornish butter, or playful packaging that sparks joy before the first bite. More than just a menu, it’s a way of sharing moments, creativity, and the magic of gathering around food with live music on every event
